The laboratory is well equipped with state-of-the-art analytical instruments that provide rapid turn-around time. These equipments include LC-MS-MS, LC-MS, GC-MS and HPLCs which are strictly qualified under vendor IQ/OQ protocols. The laboratory has experience to handle a variety of biological matrices, utilizing various sample clean-up procedures, including solvent and solid-phase extraction (SPE). These procedures are complemented in new or existing assays for the parent drug and / or its metabolites, which are then validated to GLP and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
The laboratory provides enhanced drug analytical services that are new in Malaysia and Singapore. These analytical techniques can be applied to analyses of pharmaceutical products, biotechnologically-derived products and biological samples including blood, tissue, urine, saliva and breast milk.

Screening of Adulterants
Traditional medicine or complementary medicine (T/CM) is briefly described as a science or practice in medicine and healthcare, as which is recognised and accepted by the community that has been going on for generations. The T/CM has made significant contributions for its role in the maintenance of human health and treatment of disease. The use of T/CM continues to grow and has gained popularity worldwide. The positive trends and demand necessitates a new approach to the development of T/CM. This is in tandem with the paradigm shift in healthcare that is taking place throughout the world.
Like any pharmaceutical preparation, a safe, efficacious and quality product are priorities to the consumer. T/CM should be free of adulterants, heavy metals and pesticides. T/CM derived mainly from plant sources may contain a minute amount of heavy metals.

Food Safety
In the interest of food safety, Info Kinetics had developed and validated a LCMS/MS methodology for the analysis of Melamine in food samples. This method had been included into Info Kinetics’ ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation scope.
Info Kinetics is appointed by the Malaysian Health Authorities for the analysis of Melamine in food.
